Can I take photos inside the monastery? You can take photos in the open courtyards and of the Burning Bush. However, photography is generally not permitted inside the main church or the museum to preserve the artifacts and sanctity of the site.
What currency should I bring for the entrance fees? It is best to bring US Dollars (USD) for the entrance fees mentioned ($3 for the protectorate, $3 for the museum) or the equivalent in Egyptian Pounds (EGP). Small change is appreciated.
