Experience the best of both worlds with this action-packed Turtles Bay & Ras Mohamed National Park Day Trip. Your adventure begins in the Sinai desert with an exhilarating quad bike ride and Bedouin tea, before shifting gears to explore the pristine marine life of Ras Mohamed. From the famous Magic Lake to the vibrant coral reefs of Turtles Bay, this tour offers a perfect mix of adrenaline, culture, and relaxation.
Your day begins with a pickup from your hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh. We will drive you to the Quad Center on the edge of the desert. After a quick safety briefing and instruction on how to operate the bikes, the adventure starts.
Ride into the Desert: Follow your safari guide on a thrilling 35-minute drive through the sandy trails and canyons.
Bedouin Tea Stop: Arrive at a traditional Bedouin tent. Take a break to cool down, drink some sweet Bedouin herbal tea, and take photos of the desert landscape.
Return Drive: Rev up your engines for another 30-minute drive back to the center.
Mid-Day | Discovering Ras Mohamed After returning the quads, we board our vehicle for a short 20-minute drive to the gates of Ras Mohamed National Park.
Mangrove Grove: Our first stop is the unique Mangrove channel. These incredible trees play a vital role in the marine ecosystem, thriving in the saltwater of the Red Sea.
The Magic Lake: Visit this beautiful expansive body of water. It is often called the "Wishing Lake" and is famous for its high salt concentration, similar to the Dead Sea.
Afternoon | Lunch & Snorkeling
Bedouin Lunch: We will stop at a Bedouin semi-camp for a freshly prepared lunch. Relax and enjoy the view with a complimentary soft drink and water served with your meal.
Snorkeling at Turtles Bay: The highlight of the marine tour. We head to Turtles Bay, one of the park’s premier snorkeling spots. Dive into the water to explore vibrant coral gardens and look out for the diverse marine life that makes this park world-famous.
Late Afternoon | Return to Hotel After an amazing day of desert dust and sea salt, we will drive you comfortably back to your hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh.
Do I need a driving license to ride the quad bike? No, you do not need a driving license. The quad bikes are automatic and easy to operate. You will receive a briefing before you start. Children under a certain age may need to ride with an adult.
What is the "Magic Lake"? The Magic Lake is a large saltwater lake inside Ras Mohamed National Park. It is famous because it changes color depending on the sunlight and is invisible on some satellite maps due to its high salt content blending with the sand.
Can I rent snorkeling gear there? Yes. If you do not have your own mask and fins, we will stop at a rental shop on the way to the park where you can rent high-quality equipment for a small fee.
What should I bring with me? You must bring your Passport (required for park entry). You should also bring swimwear, a towel, sunglasses, a scarf (for the desert dust), and sun cream.
Is this trip suitable for children? Yes, but for the quad biking portion, young children usually ride on the same bike as their parents. The snorkeling is suitable for anyone comfortable in the water, and life jackets are available for rent.
